Arket
Fast-fashion giant H&M is now heralding the trend in quality with the launch of Arket, a new modern-day market, both physical and digital, that offers essential products for men, women, children and home.
With timeless, crisp, quality, and warmth in its brand DNA, Arket aims to democratize quality via widely accessible, well-made products designed to be worn and adored for a long time. Its first brick-and-mortar home opened on London’s Regent Street in August taking over a former Banana Republic Space; further openings followed in Copenhagen, Brussels, Munich, and Long Acre, London, with a store in the company’s home market poised to open in Stockholm in 2018. The new brand has also simultaneously started selling online in 18 European countries.
Arket sells its own products alongside a selection of products from non-H&M brands, priced slightly higher than that of the group’s core H&M brand. Each store is also home to an in-house café offering new Nordic cuisine, promising high-quality ingredients and a healthy lifestyle.
